This section presents the Open Standards Group (OSG) Committee introduction
about who the committe is and what their role is. The committee is equally
represented by three separate groups, developers, users, and corporations.
The committee is chaired by the Director of Standards at beunited.org.
Chairman:
The Chairman of the OSG committee is responsible for the management of the
Standards Portal and the process of approving the RFC into standards.
They are an elected member of the beunited.org Board of Directors. They
have no voting rights for any standards approvals.

OSBOS Representatives:
The OSBOS Representatives are the team leaders of each of the OSBOS Projects.
There are five (5) members of this group, and each member has a voting seat on
the committee. These members of the committee represent the interests of the
developer in the community.

Community Representatives:
The Community Representatives are elected members that represent the various
geographical regions where end users of OSBOS reside. Each representative is
elected by their local geographic region. There are five (5) members of this
group, and each member has a voting seat on the committee. These representative represent the interests of end users of OSBOS.

Corporate Repesentatives:
The Corporate Representatives are elected members that represent the
corporations that are engaged in the use or development of OSBOS as a
platform for commercialization. Each representative is elected by the
group of corporate members of beuntied.org. There are five (5) members of this group, and each member has a voting seat on the committee. These
representative represent the commercial interests of OSBOS.
